09 Mar THIS WEEK: SERVE UP KINDNESS
Ever stopped to think about how many people serve you on a daily basis? No, really. Let’s see if we can help you… chefs, waiters, baristas, trash collectors, dry cleaners, grocery store clerks, shelf stockers, bank tellers, street cleaners, parks and recreation employees, teachers, gym trainers, water delivery person, law enforcement officers, firefighters, military personnel, doctors, nurses, package or mail delivery people, family members, friends, strangers. Starting to get the idea? Every day each of us gets served with kindness a hundred times over. But the question is: how much kindness to do we give back? So, this week, we want you to SERVE UP KINDNESS to those who serve you each and everyday. You know, they are kind of the ones we have made “invisible.” We probably don’t even know their names… and that surely says it all. It’s time for all of us to do a better job of acknowledging those who make our lives easier. Even if we are paying money for the service they provide, it doesn’t mean they don’t deserve our kindness. Being kind to those who are quietly kind to us matters.
