20 Apr THIS WEEK: PLANT A SEED
We, humans, breathe in O2 and breathe out CO2. Well, trees, do just the opposite… they take in CO2 and produce O2… just so we can make more CO2. In other words, trees are awesome. Oh, they also produce shade, which allows us to use less energy; they prevent water pollution; they reduce crime; they increase property value; they provide homes for wildlife; and they can be playgrounds for our children. So, maybe they are even more than awesome. So, this week, we want you to PLANT A SEED. It’s time to get out the shovel and plant some awesomeness. And, if don’t have the space for a tree, then how about a new houseplant or office plant? Or what about growing some of your own veggies? Nothing like organic, homegrown food on the table… that didn’t require any of the negative effects of transportation. When it comes down to it, there really is no good reason not to plant a seed this week. Our hope is that we have planted a seed for you to go plant one of your own. Oh, and please take a picture of your new friend and share it with us. Planting things matters.
