Here’s a question we used to ask on a regular basis. It’s not that “Why?” question we threw at our parents or guardians for just about everything. It’s the “Can you play today?” question. Sound familiar? Or, if you’re like a lot of us, that question may not be so familiar anymore. Well, that’s all about to change, because this week we’re going to PLAY GAMES. When is the last time you let loose and played a fun game? What game was it and why was it so fun? If your answer is playing a game by yourself on a digital screen, this week we’re urging you to consider a new approach to playing games. Try going “old school” and play some games that are based in the real world and include other people. Fish out and dust off your old board games, or play a fun round of charades, dodge ball, or kick the can. You can even make a new game. Whatever you end up doing, have a blast playing and connecting with people. You can even go one step further and offer Participation Trophies to others for making the time to play with you this week. However you go about it, we’re happy to know that you are getting out there and playing games, being creative, and having fun. Playing games matters.
