For years we have tried to stay organized because we have bought into the old adage, “A cluttered desk is a cluttered mind.” Today, with how many hours we spend on our computers, we might need to change the word “desk” to “desktop.” How many files do you have living on your computer desktop without a folder to call home? Well, now is the time to clean things up. Call it summer cleaning. We promise that spring won’t care. This week it is time to GET ORGANIZED. Getting organized is certainly not the most glamorous thing in the world, but it is pretty darn helpful. Committing to being organized is one of the best ways to feel prepared to take anything on that comes your way. This week, challenge yourself to do the tough work of organizing in the short-term so it pays off in the long-term. Take the time to get your space organized, your schedule organized, and your life organized. Take a step back and look at what is getting in the way of organizing yourself and what will help you. You might have some bad habits to break and some “stuff” to get rid of, but it’s all in the spirit of being more committed to being your best. We promise, it’s going to feel amazing. Getting organized matters.
