22 Apr THIS WEEK: CELEBRATE NATURE
Today is Earth Day. It is the one day of the year we have set aside to come together to create awareness for our beloved planet and to promote positive changes for our environment. But just as Valentine’s Day should not be the only day we love one another, Earth Day should not be the only day we actively protect our planet’s health and well-being. So, this week, as well as the other 51 weeks of the year, we want you to CELEBRATE NATURE. Sometimes, in order for us to really appreciate or understand something, we need to get closer to it. We need to experience it for ourselves and truly feel it. Well, what can you find in your neighborhood or city that you haven’t seen before that’s a part of the natural world? What part of nature fills you with wonder? What excites you enough that you want to protect the Earth—for you and your family, your community, and the rest of the world? This week, discover more about the planet and take time to understand the mystery of it all. Why do leaves change colors? How was the Grand Canyon created? How can you keep the mystery alive and beautiful for generations to come? Make a long-term commitment to rejoicing in the nature around you and to honoring the generosity of its beauty. Celebrating nature matters.
